This position is working with a reputable finance consultancy based within Lagos as a Senior Finance Consultant.
The right candidate should understand the workings of the Finance functions/responsibilities within a State Government, should be extremely versatile, and must meet the following requirements:
a) 1st Degree from a reputable University
b) Masters degree, a superior advantage (Preferably MBA)
d) Extremely articulate and well spoken; able to communicate across different levels
e) At least 8-10 years post-graduate experience – A mix of banking and consulting background
f) In either of the above backgrounds, experience should have a business/marketing , involving dealing with high level clients/stakeholders
g) Very minimal back office/operations experience
h) If the majority of experience is gained within the banking industry, candidate must have attained Assistant Managerial level.
i) Consulting experience should have been garnered at a reputable firm, e.g KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, Phillips Consulting etc.
j) Proficiency on Microsoft and accounting packages a must, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. MS Project, a significant advantage.
k) Very well-presented with strong interpersonal skills
l) Should be passably conversant with finance responsibilities/expectations at state government level.
m) Possible relocation, however all relocation expenses will be met including state of the art accommodation and mobility.
n) Age must be between 30 – 40yrs.
o) Explosive remuneration package.
p) Deadline for submission: 4pm, 14 May 2010
q) Interviews to be conducted towards the end of May 2010, if successfully short-listed. Candidate should be looking at a June 1st start date.
